Job summary

Aramark Correctional Services is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to maintain clean, safe environments within our facilities. You will clean and maintain offices and common areas, following safety guidelines and established procedures to support guest health and satisfaction.

This role emphasizes integrity, attention to detail, and reliable teamwork, with physical work expectations and possible uniform/PPE requirements.

Qualifications

Past cleaning experience preferred.
Attention to detail required.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, senior management, and Aramark support staff

Responsibilities

Maintains friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers.
Keeps assigned areas clean, sanitary, and in good condition per department policy.
Assesses cleaning techniques and applies orientation guidelines appropriately.
Uses housekeeping equipment and solutions safely and efficiently, as observed by a supervisor.
May disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies with germicides.
Handles trash and bio-hazardous materials with universal precautions.
Keeps cart stocked and chemicals labeled; ensures equipment is functional.
Promotes professional conduct and works to improve department productivity.
Participates in training to support professional growth and competence.
