Responsibilities

• Maintains all assigned areas and corridors in a clean, sanitary manner in line with safety procedures.
• Inspects cleaning techniques and applies orientation guidelines.
• Demonstrates safe use of housekeeping equipment and solutions as observed by supervisor.
• May disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies using germicides and sterilizing equipment.
• Diligently disposes of trash and bio-hazardous materials using universal precautions.
• Keeps cart stocked with equipment and cleaning supplies; ensures chemicals are labeled and equipment is in good condition.
• Promotes professional relationships and maintains conduct at all times.
• Assists in improving productivity and efficient operations of the department.
• Delivers ongoing training commitments and pursues professional growth.
