Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent; experience preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements of the EVS department.
• Ability to learn cleaning techniques and housekeeping equipment used by the facility.
• Understanding of procedures for cleaning and maintenance of a long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Receive direction from the EVS Manager on QAPI objectives.
• Be knowledgeable in data collection, data analysis methodology and performance improvement methods for PIPs.
• Identify opportunities for improvement through data analysis, observation and leadership consultations.
• Collaborate with the quality committee and senior leaders to prioritize and develop QAPI efforts.
• Lead performance improvement projects and provide education to build needed skills in others.
• Participate in multidisciplinary QAPI activities.
