Trinity Health’s Regional Health Ministry Environmental Services (EVS) department seeks a dedicated leader to assist the General Manager with day‑to‑day oversight, staffing, and delivery of high‑quality cleaning and sanitation programs across the region.

In this role you will help develop cost‑reduction plans, monitor performance improvements, train talent, and ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and organizational standards while promoting service quality and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Two to four years progressive Housekeeping/EVS management experience.
• Bachelor's degree and/or CHESP certification preferred.
• Knowledge of JCAHO and safety regulations related to hospital environments.
• Ability to audit processes, analyze data, and drive improvements.
• Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills; proficient with MS Office.
• Integrity, team motivation, and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Self-starter capable of independent work and delegation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in day-to-day EVS operations and staffing.
• Lead teams to ensure cleanliness, safety, and patient satisfaction.
• Coordinate core program systems, schedules, and daily tasks.
• Monitor costs, service levels, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Develop and administer quality evaluations and action plans as needed.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and counsel staff; manage disciplinary actions when required.
• Promote compliance with laws, policies, and Trinity Health standards.
