Job summary

Astoria Park Senior Living in Pasadena, CA is hiring a Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe environments for residents. You’ll perform sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing while following established standards and health-and-safety rules.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent; prior senior-care housekeeping experience is preferred. You’ll work independently or as part of a team, with strong communication and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in housekeeping in a senior care facility preferred.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing.
• Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
• Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances.
• Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
• Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate.
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices.
