Job summary

Huntsville Hospital EVS team maintains high standards of cleanliness by cleaning patient rooms, nursing stations, restrooms, offices, and other assigned areas following department procedures. A courteous and professional attitude toward customers is expected at all times.

Responsibilities include starting the day per policy, sharing workload under EVS leadership, and ensuring room cleanliness targets are met. Regular attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• HS/GED preferred.
• Healthcare or public lodging experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily cleaning/restocking of patient rooms, nursing stations, restrooms, offices and other areas in accordance with department procedures.
• Start and end day in accordance with department policy; maintain attendance and workload sharing as directed by EVS leadership.
• Meet the organization’s housekeeping needs as indicated by the average monthly room score target.
