Job summary

Summerlin Hospital, a 496-bed facility in Las Vegas, is seeking a dedicated environmental services attendant to maintain clean patient rooms and offices. The role supports high-quality patient care in a busy hospital environment with a strong emphasis on safety and hygiene.

Education: High school diploma preferred; one year of general cleaning experience is preferred, including floor care. We offer a competitive benefits package and opportunities for growth within VHS/UHS.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience: One-year general cleaning experience is preferred. Floor care or cleaning in a specialized area experience is preferred.
• Other: Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department. Candidate must be able to perform the duties of the Attendant I Classification.

Summerlin Hospital is a 496-bed hospital featuring emergency services; a busy maternity department with an average of 450 deliveries per month; a Children's Medical Center with a NICU, a pediatric ICU and separate pediatric ER; advanced cardiovascular care, surgical services, women's health and oncology care.
