Job summary
The Mint Gaming Hall Kentucky Downs is hiring for a full-time maintenance/cleaning role. You will perform cleaning tasks to support the facility, sanitize restrooms, and maintain the gaming floor, simulcast and bingo areas with rotations throughout the shift.
The role requires attention to safety, timely reporting of issues, and a proactive, guest‑friendly approach. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED (preferred), be at least 18, and be able to work varied shifts including
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must pass background checks.
Responsibilities
- Performs cleaning tasks to support the facility.
- Cleans and sanitizes restrooms.
- Maintains cleanliness of gaming floor, simulcast and bingo areas.
- Cleans, mops, washes, buffs, and vacuums floors.
- Empties trash and ash trays throughout shift.
- Stocks, tracks, and orders supplies as needed.
- Dusts and vacuums furnishings.
- Dusts and washes walls, ceilings, and light fixtures.
- Keeps work area clean and follows safety regulations.
- Performs preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Reports maintenance or safety concerns to supervisor.
