Job summary

IP Casino Resort Spa - Biloxi is looking for a diligent Public Area Attendant to keep hallways and lobbies clean and welcoming. You will deliver and retrieve items for rooms and stock linen in closets, supporting a smooth, guest-focused operation.

The role requires standing/walking for long periods, lifting up to 100 pounds, and at least a year of cleaning experience. This position contributes to a high-standard hospitality environment and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods during shift.
• Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 100 pounds.
• Minimum age 18 or 21 (varies by property).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public areas such as hallways, lobbies and stairways.
• Deliver and retrieve rollaway beds, irons, ironing boards, and other items to guest rooms.
• Stock linen supplies in linen closets and load/unload linen carts.
• Ensure preventative maintenance of equipment and supplies.
• Perform property clean up including handling bio-chemical materials.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
