Job summary

Bally's in Lincoln, RI is seeking a part-time environmental services team member to clean public casino areas, restrooms, and offices on a continual basis. You will follow manufacturer instructions for cleaning materials and equipment, maintain safe equipment, and report hazards to the Executive Housekeeper.

The role requires professionalism when interacting with guests and staff, and involves exposure to loud environments and varying conditions typical of a casino setting.

Description

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the cleaning of all assigned public casino areas, restrooms, and offices throughout the entire casino complex on a continual basis.
• Ensure that all cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment are used per the manufacturer’s instructions.
• Ensure housekeeping equipment is free of safety violations; reports any hazardous conditions or broken equipment immediately to Executive Housekeeper.
• Responsible for complying with established safety precautions when using equipment and supplies.
• Interact with guests and fellow team members in a professional and courteous manner.

Working Conditions:

• Work with or near moving mechanical parts.
• Exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, smoke, extreme cold, risk of electrical shock and vibration.
• Occasionally work in outside weather conditions.
• Work environment noise level is usually loud.

Three-six months housekeeping experience preferred.Ability to read, comprehend, and speak basic English for purposes of carrying out and communicating job duties.Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions.
