Job summary

Cactus Petes Resort Casino in Jackpot, NV is seeking an energetic cleaner to maintain lobby and public areas, restrooms, offices, meeting rooms, and outlets across the casino complex.

This role requires exceptional customer service, flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemicals. Starting salary is $13.75/hour with a $500 sign-on bonus and full benefits under the Total Rewards program.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service focus; attention to producing quality results.
• Previous guest service experience preferred.
• Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.

Responsibilities

• Clean lobbies, public and employee restrooms, offices, meeting rooms, food/beverage outlets and all back of house areas.
• Walk the entire casino and building complex public areas cleaning and demonstrating procedures.
• Submit written inspections to appropriate management and follow through on all projects.
• Follow established safety, key and chemical procedures and energy conservation guidelines.

• This position qualifies for a $500 Sign-On Bonus. This bonus is not valid for any former Cactus Petes team members or current team members.
• Displays a solid understanding of all cleaning equipment and use of related cleaning chemicals.
• Walk the entire casino and building complex public areas cleaning and demonstrating procedures.
• Clean lobbies, public and employee restrooms, offices , meeting rooms, food/beverage outlets and all back of house areas. Submit written inspections to appropriate management .
• Follow through on all projects completed and/or scheduled.
• Know cleaning supplies available and how to use them properly .
• Have working knowledge of equipment and be able to demonstrate its proper operation to others.
• Follow c ompany and departmental policies and procedures.
• Follow established key and chemical procedures.
• Follow and enforce safety and lost and found procedures and guidelines for energy conservation.
• Know proper bio- hazards cleaning and disposal methods.
• Cross-train in areas as assigned or scheduled.
