Job summary

State of Delaware is seeking a Psychologist within the Office of Evidence-Based Practice. The role supports youth and families by researching evidence-based practices, managing grants, collecting data and creating reports, and providing training and clinical assessments.

This position may be eligible for part-time telework following a probationary period and requires a Delaware Psychologist license or eligibility. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Requires doctoral degree in psychology.
• License or eligibility for Delaware Psychologist license.
• Experience with psychological assessments and reports.

Responsibilities

• Selects, administers, scores and interprets tests to measure intelligence, achievement and personality.
• Interviews and observes individuals to detect indications of mental deficiency or maladjustment.
• Communicates with public, private and state agencies to develop treatment strategies.
• Develops treatment plans and evaluates effectiveness.
• Writes progress notes and reports on test interpretation and progress.
