Job summary

Camden Health and Rehabilitation is seeking an every-other-weekend Wound Nurse to join our team of dedicated health care professionals in Greensboro, NC. Experience with wounds and an unrestricted RN or LPN license are required; additional days may be available if desired.

Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the RN/LPN will provide wound and preventative treatments and document care. Coordinate with floor nurses, CNAs, DON, ADON, SDC and Unit Managers to ensure quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Experience with wounds and wound care.
• Unrestricted RN or LPN license required.
• Willingness to cover every other weekend and additional days if desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide wound and preventative treatments.
• Document care and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate with floor nurses, CNAs, DON, ADON, SDC and Unit Managers.

Job description

Camden Health and Rehabilitation is currently seeking an every other Weekend Wound Nurse to join our team of dedicated health care professionals. Additional days available if desired. This person should have experience with wounds.

Applicant must have unrestricted RN / LPN license and experience with wounds.

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Registered Nurse (RN) and/or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide wound and preventative treatments and provide appropriate documentation.

These positions require patience, compassion, and a desire to care for the residents in a gentle and empathetic manner. Some responsibilities of the RN and/or LPN may include:

• Communication with floor nurses and CNAs
• Communication with DON, ADON, SDC, and Unit Managers
• Regular communication and coordination with the weekday wound nurse.
