CareBuilders at Home in Charlotte, NC is hiring a compassionate Caregiver/PCA to support an elderly woman with dementia who uses a rollator and is at risk of falling. You will assist with personal care, meals, light housekeeping, exercise support, and companionship on Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm to 9pm.

Requirements include caregiver experience, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a background check and TB testing. We offer weekly pay and benefits for eligible employees.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior.
• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients.

Qualifications:

• Ability to follow care plans and instructions.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Physical ability to assist with mobility and perform light household tasks.

• Must have proof of recent Tuberculosis test (within a year) or be willing to undergo baseline TB testing.

Compensation:

We offer competitive compensation of $18 an hour.
