Job summary

EverCommerce is seeking a strong technical leader to architect and implement enterprise integration and automation solutions across cloud-native services. You will design AWS-based microservices, APIs, and secure patterns while mentoring engineers and guiding production readiness.

Ideal candidates have extensive backend development experience, AWS Bedrock knowledge, and a track record of delivering scalable, secure integrations.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering background with hands-on backend development experience.
• Experience designing and building solutions on AWS Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, databases, authentication, and integration patterns.
• Experience with automation platforms such as Workato or similar iPaaS tools.
• Experience with AWS Bedrock and ability to lead technical design discussions and mentor engineers.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Practical understanding of SDLC, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support.

• Establish engineering best practices for SDLC, documentation, testing, observability, security, and release management.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive root cause analysis and long-term fixes.

• Experience with security, compliance, SOX controls, and audit-ready engineering practices.

Where

The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation

The target base compensation for this position is $150,000 to $170,000 USD per year and a variable component included in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
