Job summary

Walton Arts Center, including Walmart AMP, is seeking a part‑time seasonal Maintenance Technician to perform general preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs across our Fayetteville and Rogers campuses. The role requires carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing and HVAC skills, with some travel between sites.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, is reliable and punctual, and can work independently or with teams while maintaining safety and professional

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems, including plumbing, roofs, and electrical.
• Perform day‑to‑day repairs, emergencies, and preventive maintenance.
• Review work orders and maintain lighting systems, replace bulbs and lamps.
• Carry out carpentry, furniture assembly, and locksmith tasks as needed.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and support project teams.
• Perform general labor such as loading, unloading, and moving materials.
• Maintain safety requirements and professional relationships with staff, vendors, patrons, and tenants.
• Operate within company policies and procedures and complete duties as assigned by supervisor.
