Job summary

BEST Crowd Management in Evanston, IL is seeking an Event Security Supervisor for Ryan Field. This part-time role supports event-based security, with multiple shift options and no set schedule.

You will monitor crowd activity, report findings, and respond rapidly to incidents, upholding BEST standards of safety and professionalism. Open availability is required, with weekday and weekend shifts across the event calendar.

Scheduling

• Candidates must have open availability to be considered for the position.


• No set schedule.


• Weekdays and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service is always your top priority.


• You observe, survey the area, and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.


• You provide rapid response in critical situations.


• You're good with reading and writing detailed reports.


• You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards.


• Effective oral and written communication skills. Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office.


• Must consistently maintain an excellent uniform appearance and grooming standards in accordance with BEST Crowd Management standards.


• Must be accountable and possess the ability to hold subordinate officers accountable.


• Leadership or management experience required. Must be personable and have soft skills.

Your Background

• You have a high school education or equivalent (GED)


• You're able to pass an extensive screening process


• Preferred Security, Military, and/or Law Enforcement supervisory experience of at least 2 years or more


• You are at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements.
