Job summary

Allied Universal Event Services is hiring event staff in the Tacoma/Seattle area to support venues such as stadiums, concerts and conventions. You will collect tickets, usher guests, direct foot traffic and ensure clean, safe spaces with excellent guest service.

No experience is required; training is provided. Compensation varies by location: $17.13–$22 per hour with Seattle rates higher than Tacoma, plus paid training opportunities and part-time flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma (or equivalent).
• Background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test may be required.
• Be professional, articulate and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Directness of entry into venues, ticket collection/scanning, wristband/badge verification and traffic direction.
• Demonstrates understanding of policies and regulations of venues and events.
• Greet guests warmly and thank them as they depart, providing directions or suggestions to enhance the experience.

Weekly Pay - Flexible scheduling

Part‑time

$20/hr in Tacoma

$22/hr in Seattle (you will have the option to work this location if you choose)

Please note:

The branch office is located in Tacoma. You may need to complete training or verification in Tacoma before being able to work in Seattle.

Training rates for Seattle $21.30/hr

Training rates for Tacoma $17.13/hr

Allied Universal® Event Services is looking to hire Event Staff. This position is responsible for duties such as collecting tickets, welcoming and ushering guests, and providing superior customer service. Event Staff team members are also responsible for directing foot traffic, and ensuring the cleanliness, operational efficiency and maintenance of designated areas.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Those duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position. Other duties may be assigned.

• Assists in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Allows appropriate entry into each venue, may collect and/or scan tickets, verify wristbands and badges, direct traffic coming in and out of the venue.
• Demonstrates an understanding of the policies, procedures and regulations of different venues, facilities and events.
• Initiates a genuine, friendly and personal greeting to our guests as they arrive at your facility entrance, aisle, concourse area or other location, and a sincere thank you as you complete your encounter with each guest.
• Provides guests with helpful directions and/or suggestions that will enhance their entertainment experience.
• Interactions with guests include a smile and use of a natural speaking voice, including natural inflection and a friendly tone.
