Job summary

Hire Up Staffing Services is seeking dependable Event Staff to support a large outdoor religious gathering from October 2 to October 5. The role is temporary and outdoors, offering hands-on responsibilities in setup, operation, and breakdown of the event.

You will greet attendees, assist with directing traffic and maintaining safety, and work closely with a team to ensure a smooth experience for participants. Prior event or customer-service exposure is a plus.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Event Staff will assist with the setup, operation, maintenance, and breakdown of the event. Responsibilities may include:

• Setting up event areas, including arranging tables, chairs, tents, and equipment
• Assisting with event equipment and supplies
• Greeting and directing event participants and visitors
• Assisting with traffic management and directing vehicles and pedestrians
• Monitoring designated event areas and helping maintain a safe, orderly environment
• Helping enforce event rules and following event safety procedures
• Keeping event areas clean and organized throughout the event
• Removing garbage, clearing tables, and maintaining a tidy event space
• Assisting with event breakdown and take-down after the event
• Removing temporary furniture, equipment, and supplies
• Assisting with general event needs as directed by event supervisors
• Working cooperatively with team members to ensure the event runs smoothly
