Job summary

Valid8 Financial, Inc. is seeking a part-time Event Setup/Warehouse Associate based in San Diego, California. Position: Event Setup/ Warehouse Associate

Location: Behind the Scenes Catering located in Sorrento Valley

Reports To: Director of Operations

Schedule: Part-time position with up to 40 hours a week. 7am-3:30pm

Pay Rate: $16-20 depending on experience.

Job Description

As an event Setup/ Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of events and maintaining an organized warehouse space. Your responsibilities include the following.

Event Setup / Breakdown

• Assist in the load in and set up and breakdown of event spaces as well as loading out of events.
• Receive, inspect, and inventory event equipment and supplies upon delivery.
• Maintain accurate recordings of inventory levels and work with Director of Operations to maintain inventory.

Equipment Maintenance

• Ensure that all event equipment is clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks and coordinate with Director of Operations for repairs or replacements when necessary.

Logistics Support

• Assist in loading and unloading event equipment onto trucks or vans.
• Safely transport equipment to warehouse post event.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines during all transportation activities.

Organization and Cleanliness

• Keep warehouse clean and organized to facilitate efficient storage and retrieval of equipment.
• Label and categorize items for easy identification and access.

Team Culture

• Work closely with team members to ensure seamless event set up and warehouse operations.
• Communicate effectively with event planners and coordinators to meet event requirements.
