Job summary

Lake Lawn Resort is seeking a Set-Up Attendant to prepare and break down banquet spaces and meeting rooms for events. You will arrange furniture and equipment according to BEOs and ensure rooms are guest-ready.

In this part-time role, you may work mornings and weekends as needed, staying active throughout shifts and collaborating with banquet staff to deliver a smooth guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous event setup, banquet, or hospitality experience preferred, but not required
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Ability to work early mornings and flexible schedules
• Strong work ethic and ability to stay active throughout the shift
• Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
• Ability to follow directions and work efficiently under time constraints

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down meeting rooms, banquet spaces, and event areas
• Arrange tables, chairs, risers, and equipment according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
• Skirt tables and prepare rooms to established standards
• Reset rooms between events and ensure readiness for upcoming functions
• Move equipment, furniture, portable dividers, and event materials as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of banquet rooms, storage areas, and public spaces
• Stock supplies and ensure rooms are fully prepared for events
• Assist banquet staff during events when needed
• Report maintenance or equipment issues to leadership
• Occasionally operate company vehicles or golf carts
