Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Travel Driver in the United States to support Reliable Onsite Services. You will travel 80% of the time to events nationwide, servicing portable toilets, holding tanks, water systems and restrooms.

The role requires frequent customer interaction, strict safety adherence, and independent work with extensive travel across the USA. Qualifications include a high school diploma, valid license, DOT medical card, and 1 year of truck driving experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of truck driving experience preferred; DOT medical card required.
• A valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Excellent verbal/written communication and customer support skills.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds, and more with assistance, during loading/unloading of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily service routes in sequence as routed by dispatch personnel.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Vacuum, clean and sanitize portable restroom units on customer sites.
• Stock/replenish paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap and water holding tanks.
• Repair portable restroom units onsite as necessary.
• Provide onsite moves of equipment, and pick-up/delivery as requested.
• Safely operate a Route Service truck daily.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles and maintain truck logs.
• Loading and unloading units.
• Frequent customer interaction and recommendations for additional services.
