Job summary

Pinnacle Live, operating at the Omni Fort Lauderdale Hotel, seeks an Event Services Supervisor to lead floor operations, set-up and teardown of AV gear, delivering unmatched guest service during premier events.

You will oversee staff, coordinate with clients, manage inventory, and uphold safety and cleanliness while ensuring a flawless guest experience across all events.

Qualifications

• Two to three years’ prior experience in the audio visual and/or hospitality industry.
• Two years’ advanced audio and visual experience in a theatrical or live event environment.
• Computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supervise non-union, union and contract labor for setup and strikes according to Pinnacle Live’s standards.
• Communicate daily expectations on AM/PM shifts with clear, detailed log information.
• Greet guests/clients before events and instruct on equipment operation.
• Maintain ongoing client communication to ensure event success.
• Assist in updating client event information in the billing/event order system and review invoices with clients.
• Ensure all company occupied areas are clean, organized, and up to Pinnacle Live standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Event Services Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of floor operations, including set-up, removal and operations of technology equipment in a hotel environment with a focus on delivering unmatched customer service and providing an overall positive experience for our guest/client.

Essential Functions

• Supervise non-union, union and contract labor to ensure all set up and strikes are completed according to Pinnacle Live’s standards.
• Ensure AM and PM shifts receive clear communication of daily expectations and all log information detailed and complete
• Greet guest/client before the event and provide clear instructions on how to operate equipment.
• Provide continued communication with client to ensure success of all events.
• Follow through on all client requests and look for opportunities to enhance the client’s event
• Ensures all inventory is in good working order and rental condition
• Complies and enforces all Company security and safety measures
• Manage venue inventory and location of equipment to ensure inventory is secure from theft and/or damage
• Ensure any lost, stolen or damaged equipment is immediately reported to supervisorContinually work toward updating and improving technical skills
• Provide continued communication with client to ensure success of all events
• Maintain accurate client event information into the Company’s billing/event order system
• Review invoice with client and obtain client’s signature on invoice and add-ons
• Ensure all Company occupied areas are clean, organized and up to Company standards
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Indirectly provide oversight to technical crew for daily activities. Provide coaching, mentoring, directing work.

Education & Experience

• Two (2) to three (3) year’s prior experience in the audio visual and/or hospitality industry.
• Two (2) years’ advanced audio and visual experience in a theatrical or live event environment.
• Computer proficiency
