Job summary

Green Mountain Concert Services is seeking reliable security officers for events in Amherst and surrounding areas. The role focuses on protecting property and people while delivering guest services at client sites.

You will observe, report incidents, control access, patrol sites, and respond to emergencies. No experience necessary; training is provided. Must be 18+, able to meet licensing requirements, and willing to travel locally.

Qualifications

• Must meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers.
• 18 years or older.
• High level of confidentiality and ability to handle sensitive situations.
• Guest service oriented.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Travel required. Travel reimbursements are available.

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Enforces regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.
• Controls access to client site or facility.
• Patrols assigned site on foot or in; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.
• Protects evidence or scene of the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
• Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents.
• Prepares logs and reports as required.
• Responsibilities may include any and all protection and security services as required by the client and directed by GMCS.
