Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring Game Day Event Security to join a fast-paced, live event environment. This role offers flexible part-time schedules, evening and weekend shifts, and no prior experience required.

Starting pay is 15.50 USD per hour with weekly pay, opportunities to meet new people, and a chance to work at stadiums and arenas while contributing to guest safety and great guest experiences. This position includes bag checks, access control, and enforcing policies for guest safety.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and post-offer drug/alcohol test required; additional screening may be needed if driving a vehicle.
• Able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Ensure proper entry into venues, verify tickets and wristbands, and guide patrons as they enter/exit.
• Screen guests during entry using bag checks, handheld metal detectors, and ID verification.
• Protect guests, staff, and venue assets by monitoring for security issues at key points.
• Respond quickly to potential crowd control issues and escort unruly guests when needed.
• Understand venue policies and procedures across different events and facilities.
• Provide a positive guest experience at entry points and guide guests to amenities.

Allied Universal® Event Services is looking to hire Event Security. This position is responsible for checking bags, enforcing access control and implementing policies and procedures for the safety of the guests and owners, while providing superior customer service for the best guest experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Allow appropriate entry into each venue, may collect and/or scan tickets, verify wristbands and badges, direct traffic coming in and out of the venue.
• Screen guests during entry via bag searching, hand wand or metal detector, and ID verification.
• Protect guests, staff, and venue ownership group assets by watching for security breaches at vital checkpoints.
• Respond quickly to potential crowd control issues and provide escorts for unruly guests when ejections are warranted.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the policies, procedures and regulations of different venues, facilities and events.
• Provide a positive experience for guests as they arrive at your facility entrance, aisle, concourse area or other location
• Provide guests with helpful directions and/or suggestions that will enhance their entertainment experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• As a condition of employment, candidate must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test; additional screening may be required if driving a customer or company owned vehicle.
• Able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
