Job summary

University Marketing & Communications (UMAC) in Seattle seeks an Event Production Manager to lead production for large-scale university events, ensuring alignment with UW branding and stakeholder engagement. The position emphasizes collaboration with campus partners, budget oversight, and producing high-visibility events featuring executive leadership and donor audiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and 3 years’ experience in event or production management or related field.
• Experience delivering high-visibility events with executive leadership and donor audiences.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills across diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency with event planning tools such as Asana, Social Tables and Cvent.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide production management and event infrastructure support for complex, large-scale events (indoor/outdoor).
• Lead day-of operations, coordinating venue logistics, vendors, and staff.
• Develop event safety plans, staffing solutions, and vendor contracts as needed.
