Job summary

FC Cincinnati is seeking a highly motivated Event Operations Intern for the Fall Semester of 2026 at TQL Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio. The intern will assist the Event Operations Department and the organization in managing large-scale events, MLS games, and community events while learning the world of event management.

Responsibilities

  • Provide event support and coordination for TQL Stadium events.
  • Assist in planning and enforcing facility rules and policies.
  • Organize and maintain event documents.
  • Assist in planning the 2026 Thanksgiving Day Race.
  • Support stadium accreditation processes for events.
  • Deliver excellent customer service throughout the event process.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and operations.
  • Collaborate with FC Cincinnati departments to gain knowledge.
  • Provide general daily support to the Event Operations team.
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Position Summary:

FC Cincinnati is seeking a highly motivated Event Operations Intern for the Fall Semester of 2026. The ideal candidate for this position will be smart, humble and hungry with a desire to learn more about the world of large-scale event management. This internship is a great opportunity for those who may be interested in pursuing a career in not only sports, but also in the major event planning space. TQL Stadium is one of the premier soccer-specific stadiums in North America and is also host to other large major events throughout the year such as College Football and the Thanksgiving Day Race. The Event Operations intern will work with the FC Cincinnati Event Operations Department, as well as the entire organization to continue the growth of TQL Stadium. This is an hourly paid position, working on average 25 hours a week. This internship is for the 2026 Fall semester.

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide event support and coordination for all TQL Stadium events such as MLS games, private events, and other public and private events
  • Provide support, planning, and implementation of facility rules and policies
  • Assist in the organization and upkeep of event documents
  • Assist in the planning and execution of the 2026 Thanksgiving Day Race
  • Assist with the production of stadium accreditation for all stadium events
  • Provide excellent customer service through the event process and in all interactions with clients
  • Find areas of opportunity for improvement to increase efficiency and operational excellence
  • Collaborate with other FC Cincinnati departments to gain industry and organizational knowledge
  • Provide general support of the Event Operations Department in daily operations.
  • Assist with special projects assigned by the Event Operations team
  • Other duties as assigned
