Live Nation Entertainment is seeking qualified Event Emergency Medics (Paramedic/AEMT/BEMT/EMR) for concerts and events at Lakewood Amphitheatre in Atlanta. The role involves providing medical care, first aid, and emergency response to attendees and staff, with emphasis on safety, privacy, and rapid decision-making.

Candidates must hold a valid driver’s license and current EMS certifications (Paramedic, AEMT, BEMT, EMR) and CPR; FEMA ICs 100/700 encouraged, shooter course encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver’s license and current EMS certifications.
• FEMA ICs training 100 and 700 is encouraged but not required.
• FEMA active shooter course is encouraged but not required.
• Able to handle long show days – up to 15 hours.
• Must be able to maintain composure and organization in hectic and loud environments.
• Ability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays, including late evenings.

Responsabilités

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency requests calmly, efficiently, and promptly.
• Administer basic life support to patients at the scene and in pre-hospital settings in accordance with laws and EMS standards.
• Assess the nature and extent of injury or illness to establish and prioritize procedures.
• Conduct pre-event medical equipment inventory, cleaning, organizing, and restocking supplies.
• Respond to requests for emergency and non-emergency medical care at events and assist event staff with general tasks.
• Handle radio communications professionally and maintain confidentiality.
• Work cooperatively with assisting agencies (event staff, security, EMS transport, etc.).
• Maintain a professional, courteous, and helpful demeanor.
• Remain focused in chaotic environments to support quick decisions.
• Work long hours and be prepared for high-energy venues.
• Identify potential hazards and navigate safely in crowded settings.
• Demonstrate rapid assessment and critical thinking in limited information scenarios.
