Job summary

Gen-X Renovations of Convington, LA is seeking an Events Manager to lead an Event Department and a team of Demonstrators. You will develop and manage shows across Louisiana, engaging attendees, generating leads, and scheduling appointments that convert to sales.

This role requires weekend work, a valid driver's license, and strong leadership to hire and guide the event team. You will plan and coordinate event schedules, track productivity and budget, and report to supervision regularly.

Qualifications

• Team management and leadership experience.
• Customer service or B2C marketing experience.
• Recruiting and hiring experience as a regular focus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for talking with new people and customers.
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
• Ability to stand for extended hours at event booths.
• Basic computer literacy for administrative and reporting duties.
• Must be willing to work every weekend.
• Not a remote job; live within 30-minute drive of Convington, LA.

Responsibilities

• Promotional marketing experience at events is a plus.

Events Manager

Gen-X Renovations of Convington, LA is seeking a rockstar team leader ready to develop, manage, and lead an Event Department and team of Demonstrators in promoting our industry-leading home improvement brand in-person at shows and events throughout our territory in Louisiana!

As an Events Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Find and book new shows and events for every weekend within your designated territory to demonstrate in
• Engage event patrons at these event booths to generate leads & schedule appointments that generate sales and profit
• Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and manage your team of Event Demonstrators who work alongside you
• Ensure these promotional booths are set up beautifully and removed from these shows & events
• Plan, coordinate, and organize schedules and calendars for you, your events, and your team
• Weekly maintain, track, and report your department’s productivity, labor, inventory, and budget
• Set and ensure goals for each event, week, and month are achieved
• Keep open, regular, and prompt communication with supervision and other departments

Requirements

• Team Management & Leadership experience
• Customer Service or Business-to-Customer Marketing experience

Compensation: $900-$1,200 Per Week Base Salary, PLUS Bonuses!
