Job summary

Obsolete Site in the Carlisle area seeks a physical laborer to provide operational support for events and functions, and to configure conference rooms by arranging tables, chairs, and AV equipment from storage to setup. You will load and unload equipment, move materials with hand trucks, and keep work areas clean using industrial gear.

The role requires lifting 15-44 lbs, standing/walking for extended periods, and compliance with pre-employment checks including E-Verify.

Qualifications

• Three (3) months of laborering experience required.
• Must be able to lift 15-44 lbs.
• Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions with multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing operational support to activities who provides support to customers in various scheduled events and functions.
• Responsible for conference room configuration, beginning with organizing tables, chairs, audio/video equipment from storage to actual setup of this furniture/equipment.
• Loads and unloads equipment and furniture, moves materials using hand trucks or dollies; stacks and arranges for storage.
• Cleans work area such as carpets, etc. Cleans floors using heavy industrial-powered equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
