Job summary

CORT Tradeshow and Events is hiring immediately for an Inventory Control Clerk. The role oversees inventory and product transfers for a designated CORT location, ensuring the right items are available to fulfill orders. The job involves hands-on warehouse work, shipping/receiving, and clerical duties on the inventory system.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 1-3 years previous inventory, shipping & receiving, warehouse experience.
• Physically able and willing to move furniture; ability to lift 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receives new product into the warehouse and processes it into the electronic inventory data base
• Provides clerical support for asset team
• Assures that product is cleaned, repaired and stored according to Company quality standards
• Ensures that product is correctly located in the warehouse and in the inventory system
• Conducts product cycle counts
• Makes purchase recommendations for parts and shop materials based on established minimums
• Reviews and processes transfers in/out & maintains product distribution records
• Reviews incoming orders and responds to other CORT locations who inquire about the transfer and availability of product
• Assists on the warehouse floor or at event deliveries as needed
