Job summary

CORT Party Rental is hiring an Event Installer/Driver to load, unload, and install party rental equipment at venues such as hotels, wineries, and wedding sites. You will be the main customer contact on-site, ensuring smooth delivery, setup, and service.

Candidates should be physically fit, able to lift heavy items with a partner, and pass background checks. A valid WA driver’s license and reliable driving record are required; some weekend and night work may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 20 years of age or older.
• Valid Washington state driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Physically able to move furniture/equipment and lift 100+ pounds with a partner.
• Must pass drug screening and MVR checks; E‑Verify participation.

Responsibilities

• Visit event sites to drop off, stage, or install equipment (tents, flooring, staging, etc).
• Serve as main customer contact at events and provide excellent service.
• Count returned inventory and complete paperwork.
• Safely transport products between warehouse and event sites using box trucks or Sprinter vans.

Overview

CORT Party Rental is hiring immediately for Event Installer/Drivers. Our Event Installer/Drivers are responsible for loading, unloading, and installing our party rental equipment at various venues such as hotels, wineries, and wedding venues.

Pay

$22‑24 per hour depending on experience.

Schedule

Schedule will vary from 40‑60 hours per week with overtime and double‑time pay opportunities. Flexibility to work weekends and some nights is required.

Responsibilities

• Visit multiple event sites where you may drop off, stage, or install event rental equipment including tenting, flooring, staging, pipe and drape, and more.
• Serve as the main point of contact for the customer at event sites; provide excellent customer service.
• Count any returning inventory from client orders and complete appropriate paperwork.
• Safely transport products between warehouse and event sites using 17‑26 foot box trucks or sprinter vans.

Qualifications

• Must be 20 years of age or older.
• Valid Washington state driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Bonus if you have previous truck driving experience, but not required.
• Physically able and willing to move furniture or equipment indoors, outdoors, up or down stairs, and in all weather conditions; ability to lift 100+ pounds with a partner.
• Per FMCSA Regulations: Drivers must read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.
• Must pass drug screening and MVR checks as a condition of employment. CORT also participates in the E‑Verify program.
