Job summary

The iLUKA Collective is seeking Event Hosts to represent a client brand and deliver memorable hospitality experiences at a global sporting event in Los Angeles in 2028. Hosts serve as ambassadors, greet guests, and help guide them through venues and lounges with a welcoming, professional demeanor.

Roles run mid-July to late July 2028, with some positions through late July to late August. This is a dynamic, fast-paced environment requiring energy, teamwork and a strong guest-service mindset.

Qualifications

About the Role

Event Hosts act as ambassadors representing a client's brand and delivering exceptional and memorable hospitality experiences to all guests at a global sporting event in Los Angeles in 2028. Hosts may be deployed in a variety of settings, with the focus of the role varying by environment. The iLUKA Collective will hire hundreds of Event Hosts, holding Assessment Centres throughout 2027 and 2028 as the team is built. Roles are expected to run approximately from 9 July to 31 July 2028, with some positions also required from around 10 August to 28 August 2028.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional hospitality experience to the clients' guests.


• Act as the first point of contact and provide a friendly and welcoming meet and greet service on arrival.


• Manage and organise guest groups to ensure that they are in the right place at the right time.


• Accompany guests throughout their journey and deal effectively with any issues or problems that arise.


• Provide information and assistance to guests in all situations and at all stages of the programme.


• Deliver outstanding customer service and create an environment that is friendly, fun and guest focused.


• Coordinate guest departures as their experience draws to a close.


• Depending on the deployment setting, manage guest lists, support airport arrivals and departures, man the hospitality desk, support F&B/lounge teams, ensure venues are immaculately presented, provide VIP reception and cloakroom services


• And manage the safe and efficient flow of guests through venues.


• Contribute to any other aspects of the business as necessary.

Required Experience & Qualifications
