Job description

THE ROLE

The Events Truck Driver is a full-time employee supporting the Events Team in transporting merchandise to and from client events throughout the United States 20 – 30 weeks throughout the year. The Events Driver is a Class A CDL license holder with experience operating diesel‑powered tractor‑trailer, gooseneck trailer, and other combination trucks.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Drive and park semi‑tractor/trailer, equipment, and other designated vehicle to events as scheduled.
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations.
• Inspect vehicles for defects before and after trips and submit report indicating their condition.
• Ensure proper care, use, and organization of all equipment prior to, during, and after the event.
• Maintain, clean, and detail company vehicles.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.
• Assist with loading and unloading, desired (negotiable).
• Adhere to Legends’ policies and procedures associated with the event personnel.
• Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Class “A” Commercial Driver’s License.
• Ability to drive out of state 20–30 weeks throughout the year with duration depending on travel distance and event duration.
• Organized, self‑motivated, team player who can work independently as well as within a group.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Energy and enthusiasm to perform essential duties.
