Home Run Inn, a Chicago original, is seeking a Special Events Team Member for off-premises events. This part-time seasonal role pays $20.00/hr and involves serving guests, food prep, and event support at various community events.

Competenze

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 5 hours.
• Ability to frequently lift, reach, bend, and squat.
• Working knowledge of the predominant language of our guests.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Handler Certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Safety shoes required within 30 days of hire.

• As a Special Events Team Member, you'll help bring Home Run Inn to life at events throughout the community.
• You'll serve guests, prepare and serve our food, operate registers, and help make sure every event runs smoothly from setup to breakdown.
• You'll represent the Home Run Inn brand while working alongside a team that takes pride in great food, great service, and making every guest feel welcome.
• Provide friendly, welcoming service to guests; take orders and operate the register; answer guest questions and help create a positive experience.
• Prepare and portion food according to Home Run Inn standards; keep food properly stocked and safe.
• Help set up event spaces, food stations, equipment, and supplies; support catering events and festival concessions.
• Follow all workplace health and safety requirements; speak up and reinforce safe behaviors across the team.
