Job summary

Compass Group USA at Texas A&M University, College Station, TX, is seeking a catering assistant to deliver and serve food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain. You will set up, execute, and clean up events, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.

Responsibilities include assembling and delivering food, maintaining temperatures, arranging buffet setups, serving guests, and upholding safety standards throughout all shifts.

Qualifications

• Driver's license may be required.
• Must possess or obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit where required by state law.
• Experience with catering events or food service is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and deliver all food and supplies for catered functions to scheduled locations.
• Log and maintain food temperatures.
• Arrange tables and decorations; set up buffet tables.
• Serve food and beverages to guests.
• Clean up location after events and return equipment to the facility.
• Ensure friendly, courteous service and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
