Job summary

Obsolete Site is seeking an experienced bartender to support post-wide and large military events at MWR facilities. You will set up bars, prepare a limited beverage menu, record sales, and monitor inventory.

This role requires lifting up to 40 lbs, flexible shifts, and maintaining a clean, sanitary work area while delivering friendly service. Join a team that serves military personnel and civilians at Fort Bliss; prior bartending and cash handling experience, reliability, and adherence to safety

Qualifications

Must meet state/local age requirements for serving alcohol (at time of appointment).
Able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds (as listed).
Ability to calculate patron bills and take inventory.
Skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.

Responsibilities

Serve as a bartender for post-wide community events and large military events at various MWR facilities.
Prepares a limited variety of simple alcoholic beverages as requested by patrons and wait staff.
Sets up bars for operation, obtains cash bank and stocks service bar; maintains adequate stock and organizes storeroom/work area.
Records sales and makes change or prepares charge slips; keeps bar/work area clean and sanitary.
Identifies patrons who appear intoxicated or unruly and resolves issues per established procedures.
