Job summary

Encore is hiring a Technical Lead to set up and operate mid- to large-scale audiovisual systems in hospitality environments, ensuring guest satisfaction. You will report to an Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology and lead on-site technical tasks from preparation to teardown.

Day-to-day duties include accurate equipment setup and operation, rapid troubleshooting, and compliance with security and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 2-3+ years of audio-visual experience required.
• Valid driver’s license may be required for some locations.
• Complete required training and certifications within the stated timelines.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: setup, operation, and breakdown of AV systems with accuracy and timeliness.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly to minimize downtime.
• Follow all security and safety measures and protect equipment from theft or damage.
• Customer Service: provide excellent service and build strong client relationships on-site.
• Lead, mentor, and coach other Technicians in Encore’s service philosophy.
• Systems Knowledge: follow processes, complete paperwork, and manage equipment sheets.
• Value client relations by ensuring proper invoicing and collaboration with vendors.
