Job summary

Carrollton Regional Medical Center is seeking a qualified X-Ray Technologist for a full-time evening shift, Monday–Friday. Under the general supervision of a Radiologist, you will perform radiology procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients in a hospital setting to aid in diagnosis.

ARRT, TMB, and BLS are required. The role emphasizes patient safety, adherence to established protocols, accurate documentation, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment that supports a vibrant, patient-centered

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
• Texas Medical Board (TMB) license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality radiology procedures according to exam protocol and in a timely manner.
• Uses AIDET when communicating with patients to identify service needs and explain tests.
• Prepares patients and area, positions for procedures and adjusts equipment for exposure factors.
• Maintains safety, infection-control, and sterile techniques; adheres to policies and radiation safety standards.
• Maintains supplies, equipment, and documentation; may assist with training new staff.
