Job summary

Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre (GSWB) is seeking an X-ray Tech I for the evening shift. The role requires graduation from a radiologic technology program with ARRT and BLS certification, and involves operating imaging equipment, assisting physicians, and training students in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic exams with proper patient positioning and exposure.
• Operate radiology equipment and ensure protective measures.
• Assess patient size, age and condition before imaging and adjust accordingly.
• Assist physicians during procedures and document findings.
• Report equipment issues and coordinate repairs when needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and notations.
• Participate in QA/QC procedures and student training.
• Adhere to all organizational policies in a clinical setting.
