Job summary

Heartland Technical Education Center is seeking a Welding Technologies Instructor for its Adult Education Department in Ashland, Ohio. The Ashland County-West Holmes Career Center will provide NCCER training.

Plans, implements and assesses student learning experiences. The instructor will demonstrate hands-on activities, maintain safety, and record grades and attendance while coordinating an advisory committee twice yearly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of welding experience.
• High school or trade school diploma required.
• Hold at least one welding certification.
• Computer experience.
• NCCER training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and assess student learning experiences.
• Demonstrate hands-on activities and supervise student performances.
• Maintain professionalism and effective communication.
