Job summary

Valet Living is hiring part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists (Service Valets) in the Indianapolis area. This role emphasizes evening and weekend shifts close to home, with a focus on collecting bagged trash and cardboard from residents' doorsteps at apartment communities.

You will work outdoors, walk between properties, and transport waste to on-site compactors using a pickup truck or tow vehicle.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Own an open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle with an open utility trailer.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Active auto insurance for the vehicle used.
• Smartphone with data plan to download and use our work app, and ability to receive SMS communications.

Responsibilities

• Collect bagged trash and cardboard from apartment doorsteps and transport to the on-site compactor using your vehicle.
• Service one or more nearby apartment communities during your shift.
• Stay active by walking, climbing stairs, and working outdoors.
• No long-distance driving, bulk item collection, or off-site dumping.
• Use our mobile app to check in, track your work, and take photos when needed.
