Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma/Associate degree from ARRT-approved Radiology program.
• ARRT certification required; Board eligible or registered.
• Current radiologic technologist license to work in state.
• BLS certification preferred within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Identify each patient by two identifiers and explain the procedure to ensure understanding.
• Manage department workflow with minimal supervision and coordinate with staff.
• Maintain knowledge of RIS/Cerner, order entry, and exam documentation.
• Know and follow PACS usage, image archiving, and dictation systems.
• Adhere to department policies, protect patient confidentiality, and report issues to supervisor.
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance for students and interns.
• Perform radiologic examinations accurately and timely, ensuring patient safety.
