LIFE-NWPA in Erie, PA is hiring a Personal Care Aide to provide compassionate personal care, companionship, and support to seniors in centers or homes. You will help with daily activities and ensure safety in a calm, team‑oriented setting.

Qualifications

• Provide personal care and companionship to seniors as described.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting and transfers.
• Experience not required; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, supervision, and companionship to seniors.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, and transfers.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation as needed.
• Travel to participants’ homes and accompany them to appointments when required.
• Observe and report changes in participant condition to the care team.
• Document care and services accurately in Alaya Care.
• Participate in team discussions and quality improvement initiatives.
• Build rapport and trust through kindness and respectful communication.
