Job summary

The Springfield Free Public Library is looking for an enthusiastic part-time Adult Services Librarian. You will help patrons with their information and technology needs at the Information Desk. The schedule includes one evening per week, approximately every third Saturday, and some Sundays.

Ideal candidates will have an MLS/MLIS or be students from an ALA-accredited program. Strong customer service and tech skills are essential. The position offers $36.19 per hour, sick time, and paid vacation time.

Responsibilities

• Assist patrons with informational, reference, and technology needs.
• Provide reference and readers' advisory services.
