Job summary

Crescent Manor is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in meal service, portion control, and cleaning duties in a nursing and rehab facility in Southern Vermont. The role supports resident meals and diet preferences while adhering to sanitary and infection control policies.

Must be at least 16, able to read/write/speak English, and maintain a respectful attitude toward residents. Evening and weekend shifts may include differentials and access to earned wages prior to payday.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Patient, friendly, enthusiastic and positive attitude toward the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, service and delivery of meals and snacks.
• Use portion control procedures when preparing and serving meals.
• Assist in daily cleaning duties including work areas, tables, appliances, and floors.
• Assist in dish and utensil washing and cleaning including gathering soiled items and placing clean items in storage.
