Job summary

The Retreat at Lady's Island is hiring a Resident Care Associate (CNA) to join Phoenix Senior Living. The role supports residents in assisted living and memory care, focusing on hands-on care, PSP adherence, and a safe home-like environment.

Responsibilities include updating service plans, hydration and meal documentation, daily resident checks, and prompt call bell responses. Weekend/evening shifts are required, and the Wellness Director oversees the RCA.

Qualifications

• High School education preferred; state requirements may apply.
• Previous elder care experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Knowledge of Assisted Living and memory care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Personalized Service Plans and reviews.
• Maintain hydration schedules for residents.
• Complete meal attendance and room service as needed.
• Respect resident rights and privacy.
• Initiate and assist activities for residents.
• Daily checks for cleanliness and condition; high-risk rooms double-checked.
• Follow sanitation and universal precautions.
• Complete ADLs per PSP.
• Respond promptly to call bells and security alarms.
