Job summary

Foodland Super Market, Ltd. is seeking part-time (24+ hours) and casual front-end associates for cashier roles on Hawaii's island. The position includes an hourly wage starting from $17.05 plus a $2.00 premium, with preference for evening and weekend availability.

On-island candidates only; relocation is not provided. Responsibilities include fast checkout, bagging, item locating, and basic store maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must successfully pass math test.
• Must successfully pass cashier training after hire.
• TB Clearance required.
• Must comply with all company policies and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate checkout using cash register systems.
• Bag orders and help shoppers locate items in the store.
• Assist in cleaning checkstands and surrounding areas; return items to shelves as needed.
• Demonstrate accurate math skills and memorize product codes and weekly deals.
• Weighing, scanning, and bagging orders.
• Perform cash audits of assigned drawers.
• Maintain neat appearance and adhere to dress code.
• Resolve customer service issues and support store operations.
