Job summary

Center for Discovery in Thousand Oaks, CA is hiring an LVN/LPN to provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care within a multidisciplinary behavioral health program. Under supervision, you will support medication administration, patient assessment, and documentation, while promoting safety and recovery for individuals with addiction and eating disorders.

Responsibilities include vital signs, MAR documentation, collaboration with RNs and physicians, and ensuring compliance with privacy

Qualifications

• Graduate of approved nursing program with CA license (LVN/LPN).
• Current CA LVN/LPN license in good standing; CPR/First Aid certification.
• Experience in mental health, addiction, or behavioral health preferred.
• Obtain CPI and Serv Safe certifications within 90 days of hire.
• Knowledge of medications, dosing, safety, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to behavioral health patients.
• Assist with patient assessments and vital signs.
• Administer medications per protocol and document MAR.
• Collaborate with RNs and physicians to support coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with regulations.
