Job summary

Jovie is hiring experienced, engaging caregivers to provide in-home care for children of all ages with local families throughout Edina. This part-time babysitting role offers evenings and weekends with shifts most days 4:00pm–12:00am, starting pay of $16.50–$18.00 per hour.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of childcare experience, dependable transportation, and the ability to communicate well with parents.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of childcare experience.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Able to provide 2 childcare-related references and 1 character reference.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, nurturing care for children of all ages.
• Support feeding, naps, and daily routines.
• Encourage learning through reading, play, and age-appropriate activities.
• Communicate with parents about their child’s day.
• Create a positive learning environment for growth.
